Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Prize Bond Android app and this website ("Prize Bond", "we") collect, why, and the choices you have. Prize Bond is an independent app; it is not made by, or connected with, the Government of Pakistan, the State Bank of Pakistan or National Savings (CDNS).

Information we collect

• Account details. If you create an account with email: your first and last name, phone number, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and Google account ID.
• Guest use. If you continue as a guest, a random device identifier is stored so the same phone gets its bonds back.
• Your prize bonds. The denominations, numbers and series of the bonds you save.
• Notifications. The result alerts and reminders we send you, and your notification settings.
• Advertising. The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address and information about how ads are shown, to serve and measure ads. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
• Camera. When you scan a bond, the photo is read on your phone to find the number. Photos are not uploaded or stored by us.

How we use it

• To check your saved bonds against every official draw result and tell you if they won.
• To send result alerts and draw reminders you have switched on.
• To keep your bonds safe in your account and available on your other phones.
• To show ads that keep the app free.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone except Google, as described above for sign-in and ads, and our hosting provider that runs our server.

Security and storage

All data travels between the app and our server over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash. We keep your data while your account exists.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all data saved with it at any time: in the app (Menu → Delete account) or on our delete account page. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Children

Prize Bond is meant for adults who hold prize bonds. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Draw results

Results are taken from the public lists published by National Savings on savings.gov.pk. Always confirm your number in the official list before claiming a prize.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
